And some interesting etymology for the word Orchid. It's from the old Greek Orchis, also meaning testicles. After the shape of the roots of orchids, apparently.

The Aztec word for avacado is ahuacatl which is Spanish for testicle.

And yes i know thats fuck all to do with tomstoes,tinned or otherwise.

I never use the chopped ones*.

IF they use the healthy-looking bits of diseased tomatoes, you'd never know

Tomatoes with thousand island dressing on them in a salad seemed the exact colour of my dad's dentures when as a kid, I saw him take them out to clean them.

Surgeon friend of mine said once that if you cut a fresh tomato in half, then do the same to a cancerous breast, they look very similar.
